Why we exist
In short, "Legacy" is why we exist.
The concept of legacy is all about what you leave behind and reflects the sum of what remains on this earth when we depart. Thinking about quilters for a minute and the images that come to mind. If you're like me, you imagine a bunch of wise late-in-life ladies sitting around a table making their quilts. Certainly they gain social interaction and community for themselves which is awesome and really important. But how is their legacy different if you compare making the quilts for themselves vs. making them for babies or newborns at a shelter?
Iron Sharpens Iron exists for our legacy. The legacy of THIS COMMUNITY is to grow OUR COMMUNITIES through prayer, education, and targeted investments.

It's all about people....and people serving people. Here are some ways you can get involved with the movement.
Taco Tuesday Prayer Group
Join us for a time to build local community with prayer & a taco-themed potluck. Held on the third Tuesday of every month in the Portland Metro area.
1st Saturday Online
The first Saturday of every month we'll meet with an informal agenda to discuss:
- What's going well
- How are we struggling
- What have we learned
Investor Group
Our investor group has two primary goals:
- Choose investments to pursue together
- Invest in communities
- Create legacy
